I believe in connection

I create playful photography experiences for fun-loving families in the PNW. I LOVE working with kids! From tots to tweens, kids are hilarious and honest. Rambunctious or shy, from messy hair to mismatched socks - kids get to be themselves in front of my camera.

In addition to being a Seattle-born family photographer, I’m a curse-word-dropping (but obviously not in front of the kids!), oversharing mama of two with a super nerdy rocket engineer hubby (who’s also pretty handy with a hammer). We do a lot of DIY projects together while the kids play Minecraft and watch an obscene amount of YouTube.

I prefer mountains to beaches, eclectic to minimalism, historical fiction to sci-fi, and Diet Coke is my favorite not-so-guilty pleasure.

Capturing Love…

Here’s why you need to think about putting down your phone and getting in the picture with your kids. A year from now, you'll be glad you did this, and so will they. Ten or twenty years the kids will want to see the faces they remember from their childhood. They’re not interested in waiting for the perfect moment, far from it! You’ll be glad that even when things felt hectic you took the time to set aside distractions and celebrate what really matters.

Me and my camera are here to give you an affirming photography session that celebrates the fierce love you share as a family.

Inclusion

Got spirited or quirky kids? Maybe you're differently wired yourself. That's awesome, me too!​ My style of photography is a great fit for neurodivergent families. During a session, I follow the lead of the family member who needs the most flexibility. We can move the entire time OR cuddle up with a favorite book. You can relax knowing your kids are welcome to come just as they are.

Authenticity

Your session should be as comfortable as possible for everyone involved. You're welcome to bring items that help make the experience more comfortable. From lovies to costumes, these are the personal touches that are guaranteed to warm your heart in the years to come. In your pre-session questionnaire, please share any concerns and let me know how I can help with accommodations.

Does being in a new space feel like too much? I'll come to you! We can do a relaxed session in your home (it's fine, I’ve got easy tips for getting your home photo ready) or a place that is already comfortable and familiar. Wherever you have your session, rest assured, we can adjust as needed. By the way, I never make anyone look at the camera. You’ll be encouraged to interact with each other in ways that feel natural.
